Door control units for sliding doors
Sliding gates are an optimal protection for wide thoroughfares. Likewise, there are large steel sliding doors as an outdoor security of large buildings or hangars or of fire doors. For controlling the door drive both, door control units with integrated frequency converter and contactor-type reverser are suitable. The advantages of door control units with integrated frequency converter compared with control units with contactor-type reverser are high opening and closing speeds and so faster closing cycles, coupled with highest protection of the material. Control units with integrated frequency converter ensure that the doors start slowly, then accelerate to maximum speed and then slow down again so strong that the door comes slow and gentle to the end position. Just because sliding doors can be quite heavy and more than 10m wide material-saving operation by using control units with integrated frequency converter is particularly important.
Due to the fast closing cycles further barriers in the door area are not necessary.
