Oxygen resuscitation apparatus Dräger Evita Infinity V500 will be presented, which is equipped with RFID components from FEIG ELECTRONIC to identify the corresponding accessories which are tagged with a transponder. In this way patient security is increased, handling is simplified and sequence of operations is improved. 

Connecting accessory with V500, data exchange via RFID technology starts. So an alert sounds if a wrong breathing tube will be connected. Furthermore the device reminds the user, when the accessory has to be changed.
