Approval for cVEND PIN for German Debit Scheme “girocard”

PIN Pad Terminal from FEIG ELECTRONIC receives approval for the German market

The cVEND PIN terminal for vending, parking and fueling machines was the first electronic payment device ever to receive electronic cash (girocard) type approval from the German Banking Industry Committee (DK) in accordance with the latest specification TA 7.2 / DC POS 3.0.

The PIN pad terminal with integrated NFC reader for Tap & PIN transactions has a clear and easy-to-use user interface. Its robust and disabled-friendly housing allows applications in unattended areas - indoor and outdoor. For acceptance of contact chip cards or magstripe cards a separate secure hybrid card reader (cVEND SHCR) is also available. It considerably reduces the installation and maintenance effort for the operator, since only two cut-outs in the machine are necessary for the installation (only one device for Chip & PIN).
Like all other contactless payment terminals in the cVEND product family, cVEND PIN is also certified according to PCI PTS 5.1
