Apprenticeships at FEIG
We are always looking for young people who want to start their apprenticeship or combined vocational/theoretical degree program. We provide an excellent balance of diverse theoretical and practical content. We offer top-quality further education opportunities to help you make the most of your individual talents. We also provide a friendly atmosphere in which working and learning are fun.
With an industrial apprenticeship, you experience every area of production right from the start: from assembling circuit boards and building RFID antennas to quality management to the final installation of door controls.
With a commercial apprenticeship, you experience a range of departments: from HR and Procurement to Logistics and Accounting. This provides an interesting, eclectic apprenticeship with a broad scope of job-specific and general tasks.
Our mentoring scheme guarantees you support from apprentices from the years above. Each week, we also offer special days on which you can revise and deepen your knowledge of the apprenticeship course content from the vocational school with others on the apprenticeship.
The simplest way to a combined vocational/theoretical degree program is the Studium Plus (Study Plus) program at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, a university of applied sciences in German state of Hessen. You will study in one of the nearby towns of Wetzlar or Limburg, depending on the course you take.
These programs are also possible in other places, such as Fulda. We cooperate with other universities so that you have more options. You can then put the theory you have learned into practice directly in the company.
During the practical phases at FEIG, you will benefit from individual supervision and our employees’ many years of valuable experience.
We offer internships for students throughout their studies in the fields of Technical Management and Product Management. You can also complete your Bachelor and Master thesis in collaboration with FEIG in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, as well as Business Administration and Engineering.
We offer subject-specific internships for those training to become an electrical engineer throughout the period they are studying. We offer year-long internships for Electrical Engineering, Economics, and Administration.
