With the HF Mid Range Reader ID MR103 / ID MRM103, FEIG ELECTRONIC is launching an innovative solution which,
thanks to higher performance, various variants, diverse interfaces and USBC Power Delivery, raises RFID applications in healthcare, industry, logistics
and libraries to a new level.

The compact ID MR103 / ID MRM103 multi-tag reader operates in the RF range (13.56 MHz) and identifies transponders according to ISO 15693.
It will replace its well-known predecessor, the ID ISC.MR102. With a reading range of up to 40 cm (depending on the antenna used), the device is ideally suited
for medium-range applications.

What’s new in the ID MR103 / MRM103?

  • The RF output power has increased from 1.2 W to 1.5 W compared to
    its predecessor.
  • Multiple interfaces: The ID MR103 is now available with four different interfaces:
Ethernet (TCP/IP), USB-PD (Power Delivery), USB, and RS232.
  • The ID MR103 comes in a new, compact housing with a lower profile than before.
  • In addition to the four ID MR103 variants in the housing, two new module variants, the ID MRM103, are available with USB 2.0 or RS232 interfaces.

The reader’s anti-collision function allows for the simultaneous reading of up to 30 transponders. The ID MR103 offers full compatibility with its
predecessor, the ID ISC.MR102, and its robust housing makes it suitable for use in industrial environments.

Thanks to intelligent monitoring of the RF output power and impedance of connected antennas, the reader responds robustly to the diverse customer
antennas used in various applications.

With its numerous interface options, the ID MR103/ID MRM103 can be easily integrated into existing systems and offers maximum adaptability with three
different operating modes.

“With the new ID MR103/ID MRM103 RF mid-range reader, we offer our customers a powerful and flexible solution that meets the increasing
demands of modern RFID applications,” explains Daniel Büth, Head of Sales at FEIG ELECTRONIC. “The high output power combined with excellent
read/write performance makes the reader a real added value for a wide range of industries.”

The HF Mid Range Reader ID MR103/ID MRM103 is now available and is aimed at companies that want to design their RFID infrastructure efficiently
and in a future-proof manner.
