It’s almost become a tradition. In May 2025, FEIG ELECTRONIC GmbH was once again able to present itself as the main sponsor and a regional employer at the 12th FEIG Company Run in Giessen. With a total of almost 4,500 participants, the event was more successful than ever.
With the motto “Doing good while running”, the Startschuss für ‘s Leben e.V., which is committed to children and young people in the Giessen area.
On May 14, 2025, the 12th Giessen FEIG Company Run could take place in beautiful weather and an exuberant atmosphere.
When the first runners started at 6 p.m., it was clearly visible how much the number of participants had increased compared to the previous year. After the last runners had started the 4.8 km long run through the large FEIG starting arch, the walkers started on the 4.4 km long walking course at around 6:15 p.m.
Fantastic results
The 5 fastest runners of the FEIG team made it to 9th place in the team ranking. Simon Neugebauer reached the finish line as the fastest man in the FEIG team with a terrific result of 15:59.7 minutes, while Magdalena Müller was the fastest female runner in the FEIG team with a top result of 19:49.3 minutes.
Due to the high level of popularity last year, FEIG has once again sponsored a team of THM students with the same name STUDENTS@FIRMENLAUF in 2025. They were equipped with their own T-shirts, running numbers and then a finisher bag with goodies. The 5 fastest STUDENTS@FIRMENLAUF participants also made it to a fantastic 8th place in the team ranking, with Luca Jon Georg being the fastest male runner of the student team with 16:32.4 minutes. As the fastest woman of the students, Svenja Eßinger was able to assert herself with a very good 21:46.8 minutes.

In addition to a large area for the FEIG employees, there was another FEIG area directly behind the finish arch, where the students could pick up their start numbers and T-shirts and stay before and after the run. For those interested, there was also a wide range of information about exciting career opportunities at FEIG. After the run, both the award ceremony and the raffle took place, where prizes included a trip with the FEIG balloon, among other things. With good food and cold drinks, the evening ended comfortably.

As in previous years, FEIG has supported the company run as the eponymous main sponsor and will continue to do so in the coming years. The 13th FEIG Company Run is expected to take place on 20.05.2026.
