Topping out ceremony at FEIG ELECTRONIC
The shell of the new FEIG SQUARE office building is ready after only 6 months
On October 14, 2019, FEIG ELECTRONIC GmbH celebrated the topping-out ceremony for its new FEIG SQUARE office building.
After only six months of construction, the shell of the new building, which will have around 4,200 square meters of usable space, was completed.
This became necessary because the company, which currently has almost 400 employees, no longer has room for further growth and the existing spatial separation of administration and sales is to be eliminated - these two divisions as well as the management and parts of the development are expected to move into the new building in July 2020.
In addition, the FEIG SQUARE offers modern and spacious rooms for training and meetings.
"When I decided to build again about two years ago and made it known, I was laughed at and secretly declared insane to build something new at this age and start something new," said Wolfgang Feig, owner and managing partner of FEIG ELECTRONIC, in his welcoming speech.
"However, investment decisions like this have nothing to do with age, since their implementation focuses on the continued existence and further development of the company and is therefore 100% geared towards the future," continued Feig.
Dr. Johannes Hanisch, Mayor of the City of Weilburg, thanked Mr. Feig for his commitment that shows his trust in the Weilburg location. The investment gives the company, the location and thus the residents as potential new employees “space for the future” and Feig has been “a business card for the city of Weilburg,” says Hanisch.
